Happy Squares are our latest way to bring joy into every little corner of your life. These framed pieces of artwork may be small, but they pack a big punch. The white wood frames are 6.25x6.25in. The artwork is 4.65x4.65 in and professionally printed on thick textured canvas with fade-resistant archival inks . And they are fully assembled here in Connecticut!
When wall art becomes decor...
Because these frames are so deep, they are sturdy enough to use as home decor on a bookshelf or desk, but can just as easily be used as wall art! Small enough to go anywhere, big enough to fully enjoy all of Cathy Walters’ creations.
Cathy's process
While Cathy has painted traditionally in oil and acrylic, she prefers to paint on her iPad...giving her freedom to paint anywhere, not wait for dry time, and keep all of the furniture free from paint (she's a spiller!).
Cathy takes the same principles of traditional painting into her digital work, painting with thick textures and visible brush strokes.
But most importantly, she wants to create a connection between the viewer and the artwork through painting things like our favorite dog breeds and sweet woodland animals.
