This lighthouse (also known as Saybrook Inner Light) is located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound. The light was built in 1803 out of wood, and then rebuilt in 1838 out of granite. The road to the light is on private property, so it can only be enjoyed from the water.
